Who Is Eric Watson?
Ohio has long been known as the Battleground State — a place that shaped the outcome of our nation’s earliest conflicts. Today, Ohio once again finds itself in a battle — one that calls for courage, faith, and conviction. Eric Watson believes he has been called to stand in the gap and fight for Ohio’s people, values, and future.
My Watson ancestors first settled in Ohio in 1818 in early Fairfield, later moving to Seneca County in 1832 — where many members of the Watson family still reside today near Honey Creek. These deep ancestral ties are why I am so motivated to help Ohioans thrive.
Ohio is built on generational connection:
- Families who have farmed the land for generations
- Amish communities who choose a simpler, values-driven life
- Neighbors who still believe in stewardship, responsibility, and faith
I was blessed to grow up knowing nearly all of my great-grandparents and grandparents. From them, I learned ethics, morals, and wisdom that still guide me today. As I grow older, I understand even more how vital it is that we do not discard the lessons of past generations.
Ohio is a place to:
- Raise a family
- Enjoy the outdoors
- Put down roots for generations
To preserve that future, we must elect leaders who stand for We the People — not We the Corporations.
I believe God has prepared me for such a time as this. I will bring truth and common-sense solutions to Ohio’s challenges. With a degree in International Studies, I recognize patterns that emerge when global agendas begin influencing local and state public policy — often at the expense of everyday citizens.
I was raised in Seneca County and attended Mohawk for most of my life before graduating from Tiffin Calvert High School. I later continued my education at Sinclair Community College, where I earned a degree in Aviation.
Afterward, I attended Wright State University, where I earned a degree in International Studies, trained as a professional pilot at Dayton International Airport, and later graduated with a degree in Aviation Technology. It was during this time that I met my wife, Emily.
Shortly after completing my education and flight training, the 2008 recession hit—devastating families across the country, including those in the aviation industry.
In 2011, my wife and I moved to Arizona, where I started a successful small business that continues to grow by the grace of God.
In 2022, we felt called to return home to Ohio. Today, we proudly live once again in Seneca County, committed to the community that shaped us.
As a business owner, you become entrusted with real information — about regulation, taxation, and how government decisions impact families and entrepreneurs on the ground.
While living in Arizona, I attended the Arizona Presidential Election Integrity Hearing following the November 2020 election. After listening to a full day of testimony from citizens of all walks of life, political beliefs, and professional backgrounds, I became firmly convinced of one thing:
Election integrity is essential to our republic.
I will work with Ohio’s elected officials and support America First Candidates:
- Eliminate electronic voting systems
- Implement paper ballots with watermark encryption
- Ensure one-day, one-vote elections
Without election integrity, we cannot have truthful elections — and without truthful elections, other agendas can be imposed against the will of the people.
Our nation is in a spiritual battle — one of good versus evil. My platform will always defend conservative Christian values.
I have developed a legislative tax-incentive plan to fund new and existing Christian schools without using taxpayer dollars. Similar legislation has already passed in other states and is fully constitutional.
Ohio has a spending problem — and a transparency problem.
We have passed tax revenue laws with little consistency and minimal oversight. Just as in business, when budgets lack clarity and accountability, failure follows.
I see:
- Large global corporations receiving massive tax abatements
- Ohio homeowners burdened with rising costs
- Farmers struggling to pass land to the next generation
We must:
- Keep Ohio affordable
- Help new farmers get started
- Support existing farmers
- Keep Ohioans in their homes
- Protect Ohio land and water from harmful global “Big Tech” agendas
In 2009, Ohio ranked 6th in the nation for education. Today, it ranks 37th.
There are many excellent public-school teachers who deserve better pay and better support. However, we must pass tax revenue transparency laws so taxpayers can clearly see where education funding is going.
You cannot manage money responsibly without transparency — and Ohio property owners should not shoulder an unfair financial burden.
While many countries have banned harmful chemicals and toxins that still exist in U.S. food, Ohio has allowed critical Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) legislation to stall in the General Assembly for nearly a year.
Ohio families deserve better.
When the world’s largest Big Tech companies force massive AI data centers into rural Ohio — draining water resources and destroying farmland — it becomes clear this is an agenda, not normal development.
I will fight to stop:
- Digital IDs
- Digital driver’s licenses
- Social credit systems
- Government-driven digital surveillance
If COVID-era control felt excessive, imagine a future where digital tracking governs every movement and decision. As Senator Josh Hawley stated:
“You might as well put Big Tech on the Senate floor, because nothing passes without its approval.”
We are only a click away from losing it all.
God is calling His warriors to stand for truth and protect our God-given rights. Our Founding Fathers foresaw a time when government could be infiltrated by evil — and they gave us the Constitution to defend our freedoms, our land, and our future.
Let us stand together and fight for a brighter Ohio — one we can love, protect, and pass on for generations to come.

“Ohio must be led by
We the People, not
We the Corporations.”
